Acrylic Engraving
Acrylics are used daily in the fabrication of signs and displays, one of the most unique methods of processing acrylics is engraving. Engraving or etching on acrylic is to form graphics on the acrylic through laser or CNC processing. The engravings can then be filled in with paint or lit up by light, creating a truly unique sign or artwork for display.
Wood Engraving
Wood engraving is widely used for decorative pieces, art works or signs. Engraving on wood can be achieved through various processes, with the most traditional way of preparation through chiseling, preparation of surface and filling with paint or gold foil. The selection of the type of wood and the processes involved in the treatment of the wooden sign will define the lifespan of the sign.
